Gitanjali Rao
Born in 1972 in Mumbai, Maharashtra
Taking the road less taken and making her own niche, Gitanjali Rao is an independent filmmaker who makes animated films for adults. Her first two films –'Orange' and 'Printed Rainbow' won several accolades.
'Printed Rainbow' was premiered in the Cannes Critics Week in 2006 where it went on to win three awards including best short.Her recent film 'True Love Story' has received a production grant from the Doha Film Institute.
