    These pictures come from the houses of Goa. It can be seen how the colors of the houses are matched to that of the balusters to enhance the beauty of the building preceding it. Balusters are basically moulded shaft or circular sometimes twisted mostly fits in between the parapets or handrail of the staircase or balconies. They are made of concrete, stone, wood or metal.
