The Chola dynasty was a Tamil dynasty which was one of the longest-ruling in some parts of southern India from 9th century AD to 13th century AD. Darasuram, Chidambaram, Gangaikondacholapuram, Nageswaram, Adikumbeshwaram temples are the epitome of Chola dynasty’s architecture. They represent the epitome of Indian architecture.
