The design of Dipbahan is designed for easy access to facilitate the user to get in and out of the tricycle rickshaw, provides ample legroom for the passengers, proper space for carrying the luggage, incorporates Ergonomic seating arrangement.
Safety First:
Dipbahan – ‘the rolling cage space’ frame structure is provided to protect the occupants in case of overturn. It intends to protect the occupants from direct impact by other vehicles (due to accidents resulting out of crashes) during operation on road to the maximum extent possible by providing an enclosure so that no other vehicle will directly hit the user of the tricycle.
Aesthetic Looks:
Aerodynamic orientations of the design with space frame structure enveloping the driver; Reinforced platform to support the structure helps to also optimize the available space giving this human powered vehicle a sporty and dynamic feeling.

Dipbahan is manufactured using modern technologies and materials. Messrs, Tim Steel, Guwahati under license from lIT Guwahati, undertakes commercial implementation of variants of Dipbahan.
