This project started out to explore and understand how LEDs behave and how certain properties of the light created by LEDs can be used to create mesmerising and interesting results.

Through this project, I created a tool that could act as a source of inspiration for designers and other creatives alike when going through a creativity block.

This project utilises the combination of a moving light source and long exposure photography to create a unique and interesting outcome every time. I developed an apparatus that encourages the light source to move in a random-like fashion when used handheld or on a dedicated stand.

The outcome is a photo or a video of a light source moving in the 3D space generating unique wireframes or silhouettes. The idea is to generate as many such stills with unique patterns till a designer finds one that acts as a source of inspiration and sparks a new chain of thought for a form or a sculpture or a product.
