The word Maharashtra is derived from the Sanskrit words Maha meaning Great and Rashtra meaning Nation, Thus rendering the name Maharashtra. Maharashtra is one of the most industrialized states of India, it occupies the western and central parts of the country and extends over the Sahyadri mountains. The state is discoverer in small Scale industries. The state continues to attract industrial investments from both, domestic as well as foreign institutions. It has become a leading automobile production hub and a major IT growth centre.

Nashik is a city in northwest region of Maharashtra in India, and is the administrative headquarter of the Nashik District. Nashik is famous for historical and religious place located in Maharashtra state. In Nashik some peoples are involved in manufacturing silver embossed plate.

Silver has been around for thousands of years and it has been used in many fields. It was considered to be the second most valuable precious metal with gold being the first. Silver is a metallic element. Silver is a soft, shiny metal. Silver is found naturally by itself, as a mixture with gold.

Decorate a surface with a raised design is called as Embossing. Silver Embossed plates are made by using rectangular brass stamp. These stamps are the actual, skillfully hand engraved, definitely eligible of closer attention. In Nashik Khalpakar Jeweler’s involved in gold and silver works since 1947. Silver embossed plate is also called as Dev plate. Ravindra Keshav udavant artisan reside in Nashik doing the embossing work of god portrait. Chandi and Vajra are mixed together to make the silver sheet.
