Design Process followed was:
• Studying existing IITG bus timetable.
• Users of timetable were identified.
• Information classification/ chunking
• Students came up with first round of iterations.
• The idea of complexity in visual and information design was investigated.
• Studying the map of city of Guwahati, to understand the context of the journey.
• Getting students to draw their journey maps.
• A list of user questions was populated.
• A graphical representation of map was developed to clarify the conceptual model.
• Second round of iterations (with output constraints of A4 sized, black and white, reproduction method of photocopy).
• Final design solution (without the above constraints) was worked out.
