Exploring experimental animation by 'Process' means the way animation is perceived and recorded. Motion is perceived through a phenomenon known as the persistence of vision. Many animators have experimented with process to create imagery that is never drawn, sounds that have never been made, but all made possible through the technology available.
Process includes different techniques of animation like time-lapse, pixilation, rotoscopy. Here, the animator is exploring the given technology and the many ways in which the animation may be illustrated and recorded.
