“Libaas”, the term that stands for “dress” in Urdu, questions the superiority of one’s dress over one’s personality. It explores how clothing becomes a social construct that shapes perceptions of identity. Through animation, it questions whether attire merely covers us or defines how society perceives us—challenging the idea that appearance holds greater importance than personality. The work reflects on the cultural, emotional, and psychological layers embedded in what we wear, prompting viewers to rethink the relationship between self-expression and social judgement.
