Toys that help children express and understand emotions, and social relationships are known as Social Toys. These toys help children to develop social and language skills as well as help in emotional development.   They develop their verbal language as well as body language though play –sharing and role playing.

Social toys are played by children in the age group of 1 yr to adults.  The toys in these categories involve from very small pieces to large huggable pieces. They are available in various materials like wood, cloth, coir, bamboo, metal, plastic, etc. The children learn to develop social skills for both verbal and non verbal communication.
