In 1960, Morton Heilig developed a stereoscopic television apparatus aimed for individual use in a portable form factor which could be attached to the user’s head. The Telesphere mask comprised of optical units, television tube units, earphones, and discharge nozzles designed as a personalized device which could be adjusted to the individual’s comfort [4].
