An Indian meal is always accompanied with a beverage usually water, sometimes along with water, buttermilk or lassi. These are usually served in drinking glasses. Since ancient times different types of materials have been used for manufacturing glasses clay & copper for the masses, gold & silver for the rich. With industrialisation newer materials like Stainless Steel, different types of plastics, paper are being used widely to manufacture a large variety of drinking glasses.
